MomentumFest MTL was a community-focused festival celebrating fusion bellydance in all its formats and flavours. Every year in mid-July from 2017 to 2019, we offered a full weekend of workshops with some of the most inspiring artists in this corner of the world and elsewhere, as well as three nights of shows featuring an array of international artists, all in the vibrant heart of Montreal. We also organized other events throughout the year to keep the momentum going. Our aim was to bring dancers together to exchange ideas, forge strong bonds, and celebrate this living dance.
